After a full year of touring and a live Album „FIRAQ“, Shkoon wants to end the year in Hamburg where everything began. The German-Syrian band combines traditions and modernity in a very unique way: Piano, synth, vocals, Arabic emotional lyrics and oriental melodies merge with Western electronic beats. Shkoon create their live performances with the art of improvisation and interaction. Close contact with the audience is very important to Amee and Thorben, because Shkoon music is „music with a message“: As ambassadors for cultural diversity, the two firmly believe that music is an essential key to peace. A spirit that is needed more than ever in today’s world.
