27th ROCKABILLY ALLNIGHTER HAMBURG
Jameson’s Gentlemen + Twisted Rod + Ray Black and the Flying Carpets // Three Bands, 2 DJs, all night long!!!
JAMESON’S GENTLEMEN (Europe)
From 5 countries these guys come together to bring you the hottest new act in the European Rockin scene. Starting out as a song done on the infamous „Tear it up“ jam session in Medulin, Croatia. These 6 guys decided to form the band in it’s own right. Whilst they all currently play in many of the scenes hottest bands they have found the time to come together and bring you some of the wildest rock and roll music going. Add to this the passion that every member has, the desire to just enjoy playing and the years of experience and you know you are in for a show to remember.
TWISTED ROD (Cz)
Is a 3 piece rockin‘ combo based in Prague. They play highly energetic, red hot 50s inspired music. They are considered as one of the most authentic rockabilly band in the Czech Republic. Get wild with Phil strumming the guitar, Speedy slapping the ol‘ dog house and Andy banging the drums!
RAY BLACK AND THE FLYING CARPETS (Ger)
Ray Black & The Flying Carpets are totally devoted to the raw and honest sound of early Rockabilly. Still these guys are not afraid of critically selected garage songs from the 60s, that they translate into their own style and use them as a fuel injection for their mainly authentic Rockabilly sound.
The outcome is a highly driven performance, that is danceable, whether you want to bop or to jive and shows the uncompromising dedication of the four bandmembers Ray Black (Singer, Upright Bass), Martin Bone (Lead Guitar), Howlin’ Herbst (Rhythm Guitar, Baritone), Boz Doz (Drums) to what they do, on every stage that they enter.
The band is based in Stuttgart (Germany), but has played all over the country and in Austria, Switzerland and in France. All band members are active musicians in the scene, playing with The Hidden Charms, The Railbones, Dusty Dave & The Heartattacks or Blue Rockin’ so you certainly could have seen them on stage before.
